I'd like to think of myself as a grounded person, a person in touch with my emotions and invariably self-reflective of all the nuances life has bestowed upon me. I'm a minimalist, partly due to my frugal upbringing but mostly cause I feel like material gain isn't a way I'd like to identify my success. My success is grounded in my relationships, having peace of mind, good health too encompasses what passes for a good life.

Sophistication is a concept that's innately interesting for me, seeing as you've got to have a particular amount of financial freedom to indulge in what passes as sophistication. To pass as an ardent book reader, you've got to be a collector, have signed and/or limited editions of these books, a simple contemplation of an art connoisseur entails the collection of priceless pieces of art, say, paintings, music records or attend theatrical orchestral performances of classical suites.

I too would like to indulge in all this, regardless of my self-identity. I ought to obtain a certain level of material gain to partake in the nuanced subtleties life's got to offer, thus perpetuating my ambivalence towards the capitalistic nature of society but still having no choice but to indulge in order to achieve happiness or at least the facade of happiness, better yet have a fulfilling existence.
